Empowering Futures
Through Technology
Providing computers and internet access for youth and adults in the Greater Sacramento region to promote successful educational outcomes and productive lives.

Bridging the
Digital Divide
Computers 4 Kids (C4K) is a Sacramento-based nonprofit dedicated to closing the technology gap for underserved youth and adults. We believe that access to computers and the internet is not a luxury — it's a necessity for education, employment, and opportunity.
Since our founding, we have worked tirelessly to collect, refurbish, and distribute computers to families and individuals who need them most. We also provide digital literacy training to ensure recipients can make the most of their new tools.
Our Mission
"To provide computers and internet access for youth and adults in the Greater Sacramento region to promote successful educational outcomes and productive lives."
— Computers 4 Kids Mission Statement

Equity
We believe every person deserves equal access to technology, regardless of income or background. Digital equity is at the heart of everything we do.
Empowerment
Technology is a tool for transformation. We empower individuals with the devices and skills they need to unlock new opportunities in education and life.
Community
We are rooted in the Sacramento community. Our work is driven by local volunteers, donors, and partners who share our vision for a connected region.
Our Programs
Three core programs designed to meet the technology needs of every member of our community.

Youth Technology Program
We provide refurbished computers to school-age children who lack access to technology at home. Our youth program ensures students can complete homework, access online learning platforms, and develop essential digital skills for the 21st century.
- Refurbished laptop or desktop
- Basic digital literacy training
- Educational software included
- Ongoing technical support
Adult Digital Literacy
Our adult program bridges the digital divide for job seekers, seniors, and community members who need technology skills to thrive. From basic computer use to job applications and video calls, we meet adults where they are.
- Computer access & training
- Job application assistance
- Email & internet basics
- One-on-one coaching available
Internet Access Initiative
A computer without internet is only half the solution. We work with local partners and service providers to help qualifying families access affordable or free internet service, ensuring they can stay connected to education and opportunity.

- Home setup assistance
- Family digital safety training
